1. To make this contact print I first picked a photo I had already taken on a digital camera and went into photoshop to create a negative of the photo. While in photoshop I messed around with the contrast so that when I developed the photo there wouldn't be lots dark colors or too many light colors. After making the negative I took it into the dark room and began the process to develop my photo. The first time you cover parts of the photo with a mat board so that there are different shades of the photo. You want the different shades so you can decide which you like best to make the final print. After developing the first begin on the second one with the new amount of time. When the second one is dry begin the process of dry mounting. Get a mat board and sticky paper. Places the sticky paper on the mat board and put your photo on top of the sticky paper. Then, put a white piece of paper over your photo and put it in the press for one minute. When it's done you can cute the extra mat board off and place a mat frame around it, but you don't have to. 2. I really enjoy developing photos especially when you want a photo to be black and white because you can mess with it and choose one much contrast you want or how much white you want in comparison to black. I also like it doesn't distort the photo at all. In general I really enjoy the whole process and i don't seem to have an problems doing it.
